Our Director of Missions works in York,Adams, Franklin, Cumberland, Perry, Juniata, Mifflin, Snyder and Centre Counties to assist Southern Baptist Churches with resources for improving ministry to people in their community and encourages pastors and churches to network with other churches in reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This involves networking with the Baptist Resource Network of PA/S. Jersey and the Southern Baptist Convention; providing leadership training; assiting churches with our Block Party Ministry Trailer and Disaster Relief Clean Up & Recovery Ministry; supporting our Campus Ministry at Penn State, State College & future campus ministries; assiting churches in starting new churches and in helping churches that are looking for pastors and staff.

 Larry is also a Certified Administrator for the Antioch School of Church Planting and Leadership Development, leading cohorts at the KBA office as well as assisting other churches in developing their own leadership training ministry.

Our Office Ministry Assistant works with the Director of Missions and Financial Ministry Assistant in making sure all administration of the associational ministry is maintained and followed up. She also oversees the ministry of the Block Party Trailer. We are always looking for volunteers to help with the clerical work at the office since our assistant is part time, working three days a week. Please contact the office if you would like to volunteer your services.

Joan is the wife of our Director of Missions, ministers to the pastor and church staff wives and volunteers to help our Womens Missionary Union Leader in encouraging our churches to be more involved with local and internation missions.

Our Financial Minsitry Assistant takes care of the book keeping and payroll, working with the Director of Missions and Office Ministry Assistant. Richard is also Pastor of Red Land Pastor Church in New Cumberland, PA.

The Keystone Baptist Association (KBA) is now seeking a new Director of Missions (DOM)
following the announcement of retirement of our current DOM. The KBA is made up of 37
congregations covering York, Adams, Franklin, Cumberland, Perry, Mifflin, Juniata, Snyder,
Centre, and two churches in Dauphin County south central Pennsylvania. The KBA is
considered the Central Region of the Baptist Resource Network of Pennsylvania and South
• Sensed a divine call for missions and evangelism;
• Earned a seminary degree and be qualified by training and/or experience for the position;
• Understand and be in sympathy with the work of the Southern Baptist Convention, the
Baptist Resource Network of Pennsylvania/South Jersey, the Association, and the area
The Director of Missions will lead the association to fulfill its mission more faithfully,
effectively, efficiently, and lovingly. Serving as a mission strategist, minister to the churches
and church leaders, and give general leadership to the association;
• Work with and assist pastors.
• Work with and assist churches.
• Strength relationships among the churches.
• Work with and assist associational organizations and leaders.
• Provide missionary leadership.
• Assist in Church Planting.
• Maintain denominational and other external relationships.
• General leadership and administration.
• Office, business, and staff management.
• Fulfill other responsibilities appropriate to the position.
