BLOCK PARTY TRAILER

AND INFLATABLE GUIDELINES

1. The rental deposit for each event is $250.00; $150.00 of the deposit is refundable upon the return of trailer on scheduled date and is inspected by the Keystone Baptist Association (KBA) staff.

2. I understand that we assume full responsibility for any damages to the trailer or inflatable up to the full amount of the deposit. If there are no damages to the trailer or inflatable and it is cleaned upon return, I understand $150.00 of the deposit will be returned.

3. I understand that $150.00 of the deposit will not be returned until the Block Party Evaluation Form is completed and returned to the KBA site. $100.00 will be retained for equipment insurance, maintenance, and supplies.

4. I understand that while the block party trailer is in our possession it can not be rented, transferred to or loaned out to any individual, group, church, or association.

5. I understand that the trailer will be stored in a safe location and that the doors will be fully secured at all times.

6. I understand that the trailer will be returned on the date specified to the location identified by the KBA.

7. I understand that the contents of block party trailer, including the inflatable will remain with the trailer at all times. Any use of the trailer for anything other than for transporting and storing of the block party equipment must be pre-approved by the KBA.

8. I understand that the inflatable must be erected in a safe manner in accordance with the instruction manual. The instructions for erecting the inflatable are located in the “Block Party” notebook. This book will be provided to the individual who is responsible for pick-up and set up of inflatable. I understand that all equipment must be accounted for after the block party trailer is used and placed back in the trailer.

9. I understand that all equipment items for the block party trailer and the inflatable must be cleaned according to the instructions listed in the Block Party notebook before being placed back into the trailer. I also understand that $50.00 will be charged if the block party equipment and inflatable are not cleaned in accordance with the operational instructions located in the block party notebook.

10. I understand that no modifications to the trailer or to the inflatable can be made, including painting, and signage.

11. I understand that emergency repairs can be made to the trailer and inflatable, including repairing rips, fixing flat tires, and bulbs. All receipts for reimbursement, must accompany the Block Party Evaluation Form. Repairs over $50.00 need approval.

12. I understand that picking up and returning the trailer is the responsibility of the renting group. The appropriate trailer hitch and ball (2 inch) is required before the trailer is moved.

13. I understand that the Block Party Ministry is supported by the Cooperative Program Ministry of the Southern Baptist Convention & KBA.

14. I understand that churches will be responsible for the mileage reimbursement to the Certified Inflatable Inspector that is not KBA staff at $.45/mile each time they come to inspect our set up. Checks will be made payable to the inspector and paid within 2 weeks of the event.
